ADULTS (Ages 25-65)
The unique stress that women face often lead to increased feelings of insecurity, anxiety or depression, and these can contribute to poor sleep or engaging in unhealthy coping skills. I will help you identify unhelpful patterns, build healthier boundaries with yourself and others while using mindfulness as a tool to build healthy coping.
YOUNG ADULTS (Ages 18-25)
Transitioning into young adulthood can create many joys and struggles for young women. Finding your independence while navigating the expectations and opinions of others can feel difficult and contribute to patterns of anxiety. These patterns can also appear in dating while learning to balance individual needs with those of a partner. Young women during these ages need support to find and amplify their own voice while expressing their needs and building healthier boundaries with others.
PRE-TEENS AND TEENS (Ages 10-18)
Teen girls face many hurdles as they transition through middle school and high school. During these years, girls face pressure to maintain grades and achievement while feeling accepted by peers, and sometimes these challenges are exacerbated with the presence of social media. This can contribute to anxiety, depression and lead to unhealthy forms of coping. Girls require help to build awareness of negative influences and build a path towards empowerment and self-esteem.
I enjoy working with adult adoptees to develop understanding and awareness of the role that adoption plays in their life and relationships. Together we will explore your individual experience of adoption and identify ways to build security through improved communication and self-care. As a member of the adoption triad myself, I approach this work with respect and sensitivity.
