I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania and National Certified Counselor who has experience working with children, families and people of all ages. Every woman, young or old, is capable of finding their own path to healing; and I will offer you acceptance, guidance and encouragement to reach your goals.
I believe our early experiences shape how we feel about ourselves and influence our reaction to the world around us. Women and girls face unique pressures from imbalanced systems they live in that contribute to anxiety, depression and weaken self-esteem. In order to survive in these systems, unhealthy beliefs or patterns of behavior can form. There is great healing to be found when those patterns can be identified, understood and challenged. I enjoy partnering with my female clients who are committed to this process.
As my client, you deserve a custom approach to counseling. I integrate a variety of therapeutic approaches to support your healing, such as; Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and encourage the use of mindfulness to build mind-body awareness and achieve goals.
